England name squad for first test against Pakistan
England have announced their twelve man squad for the first test against South Asian outfit Pakistan at Trent Bridge next week. Irish batsman Eoin Morgan has retained his place in the squad, with the selectors also keeping faith with fast bowlers Steve Finn and Ajmal Shahzad.
Ian Bell is not present in the lineup after injuring himself in the recently concluded Bangladesh series. Essex batsman Ravi Bopara was not included despite his fine recent county form. Another playing who misses out is Yorkshire’s Tim Bresnan.
The first test begins in Nottingham on July 29.
